    Description

    Vintage Hand Painted Stangl Bird of Paradise Bird Figurine.  Marked 3408.  In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. It is 5" tall by 4 1/2" wide.
    Johann Martin Stangl purchased the company, Fulper Pottery in 1930.  The company name was change to Stangl Pottery in 1955.  In addition to dinnerware, Stangl was known for its line of bird figurines.  The bird figurine line started in 1939.
